A prostitute on the road of Phoenix selling sex is a felon. If convicted she will serve time in a penal institution at the expense of taxpayers. Her institution will be mainly filled with others convicted of the same crime. Who were the victims of these ladies of the night? Can that be classified a 'victimless' crime? A person is caught with a pound of marijuana in his/her possession. If convicted of possessing it he/she will spend time in a penal institution. Who was the victim of the crime of that person having possessed that pound of that substance? Can that crime be accurately described as victimless? If not, who, precisely was the victim? Society is not a victim by any definition. Victims can easily be identified in crimes of violence, theft, robbery, fraud, homicide. Individuals. Is a crime without an identifiable individual as a victim a victimless crime? Dragon and wealthy B: You both interject the existence of prosecutable crimes [with victims] sometimes perpetrated alongside prostitution and drug possession. Those are crimes with victims, with or without drugs or prostitution accompanying them. I never intended to suggest otherwise. The question was about victimless crimes. Not about the crimes with victims you pick to associate with the victimless crimes I mentioned. Open Question: Why does marijuana seem unaffected by inflation?
Silly question, maybe. It is a black market product and maybe that has something to do with it (but what?). But inflation seems to hold through for most products. Which means dollars are worth less, overall. The effect ripples through the economy; as vendors are no longer able to buy as much product as they used to with the dollars you give them, they lift their prices to reflect the new reality. However, I remember that 15-20 years ago, a gram of marijuana went for $10. Now I understand that's still the standard. Why has this particular product remained so impervious to inflation? Surely, even illegal resellers must notice the price of things around them going up?

I am looking for websites or articles that talk about this issue. This is a serious question and I would really appreciate serious answers. I know that marijuana has medicinal uses and that both depression and heroin addiction are treated with pharmaceutical drugs which can sometimes be just as harmful. The person is already off of the heroin and has gone through the withdrawals. The doctors put them on a medication combination that has caused them even worse depression. I know someone who has really bad friends, they every take drugs, try to sell drugs, and sell fake drugs (anything thats cheap and easy to receive their hands on thats actually not a drug) as real drugs that are supposed to be expensive. This person isn't a bad person or anything, but he just needs help getting away from this crowd of people.. I was wondering if i went to the police about every the people I know who are dealing and using drugs etc to help this person receive away from the crowd, would they let him off for using drugs like marijuana if one of his friends dobbed him in..? PLEASE PLEASE I NEED HELP. Ive been up for almost 24 hours now and im not even one bit sleepy, lets receive some stuff out of the way first, NO im not on crystal meth, or any drug for that matter. In April 2009 I needed a car to steer to work. My brother let me steer his car which is a 1992 nissan 240sx, automatic, in very needy condition outside, inside, and mechanically. I asked if anything was wrong with the car, to which he answered no. I steer the car home that night and notice the tachometer is revving into the red. I call my brother up and tell him to cease by to look whats happening and he says it should be fine, and does not cease by. Next morning I steer to work and same thing happens. I text him if the car needs anything, and he doesnt answer. I proceed to receive an oil change before work anyway. After my shift I leave work, and 5 minutes after driving, the tachometer reading is going wild again into the red and the engine/transmission blows. Car gets towed to his home and I ask how much money does he want, since the car broke while I drove it. He replies that I dont have to pay him anything. After a few days he tells me the car broke down becuase he drained the transmission fluid and forgot to replace it. After a long year and couple months of annoying me, he decides he wants to sue me for $5000 for destroying his engine/transmission. Im starting to believe he drained the transmission fluid on purpose in hopes that i would help him purchase a brand new one. Open Question: My recruiter is telling me to lie?
I have an arrest for possession of marijuana. It occured when i was juvenile. There was no conviction. The charge was dropped. Didnt go to court, didnt do any programs to receive rid of the charge. The FBI check at the recruiters came back as No Hit. My recruiter told me thats the same test that they do at MEPs and that i should just not tell them. He says theres no waivers now, and that its going to be a long time before i can receive it. Im in no rush to boat out. No rush at every. NO way in hell am i going to lie. Im not going to risk a fraudulent enlistment, or risk going to Kansas lol but what should i do from here? look a different recruiter? I already switched recruiters before. Open Question: Should I smoke Marijuana again? (More complex question)?
The first issue to previous use is regulation. I used to smoke weed for a few years on and off but I always end up smoking too much. Most of my friends that I hang around smoke weed (alot), so some days I found myself smoking 5-6 times throughout a day, 5-7 days a week. If I started up again I probably would not tell anyone but a few close friends (or anyone at every) to prevent myself from temptation. Don't receive me wrong, marijuana is an amazing drug but when abused has worse effects than not using it at every. Weed is extremely available for me, it is much easier to obtain than any other legal drug like tobacco or alcohol (ironic lol). I am fascinated about how the drug is not very harmful at every physically, but when abused can cause mental problems (though not severe, one can become more lazy, less intellectual, mentally slow, etc..). So one issue would be to regulate myself to maybe smoke few times a week so I don't go overboard. Another issue is sleeping. Weed can make a person pass out instantly which is great if you have sleeping insomnia, but I don't. Right now I've been getting to snooze within 5-10 minutes. Back when I smoked (I've quit for 3 months) I would have snooze insomnia when I didn't smoke before bed because I was so used to the ease of snooze from smoking before bed. And it is not a good thing to smoke before bed 1. because of it being a bad habit but 2. because it decreases melatonin levels in your brain that makes you repair from the day and feel refreshed in the morning. So even when I would snooze for 10 hours when I smoked right before bed, I would feel groggy and irritable like I only had 5-6 hours of snooze. The third issue being legality. I receive very paranoid when driving high or even driving while possessing marijuana in the car or having the car odor like weed in case I was stopped by the police I would be fined and or go to jail. I am 17 and know you can obtain a Cannabis Card as a minor. My parent is borderline willing to sign for me and I know with enough persuasion she would follow through (I'm allowed to smoke weed outside my home). With a card I would not have to worry about the police (on a state level) and I would be able to purchase weed legally and even grow my possess plant for personal use. I have 7 months until I'm a legal adult, should I wait until then or attempt to obtain a card now? And another question is do Cannabis Cards show on background checks for jobs? I plan on eventually either working a high position for a big corporation or the government, and I don't want to be declined because I had a medical Marijuana card. Now, I adore the effects of marijuana. They are very relaxing and can help in other ways like lowering anxiety and pain. I also adore the euphoria knowing that there is something fun and enjoyable to do at the end of the day that I can look forward to. Recreational use is also a great plus, just relaxing on the sofa smoking a joint playing video games with friends, temporarily losing every sense of responsibility and worries, entering a state of bliss. I am currently working 40-50 hours a week until class starts up in a few weeks. Almost everyday I arrive home working a 7 hour shift I am exhausted and need something to relax on. I'm trying not to smoke weed (haven't been for the last 3 months) because of the 3 issues as states over. But I have been smoking a cigarette a few nights a week (even though they are very harmful) to relax. I would adore to substitute that cigarette with a joint but I don't want to enter a smoking cycle. With every the input I have given, would you advise me keep abstaining from smoking weed or continue in hopes of self regulation and legality by obtaining a Medical card? Thanks Chris

My son and his 4 friends that have every been friends since elementary school (they are 16 now) have been acting weird at their weekend sleepovers at my home! They giggle at everything and have very bloodshot eyes - I suspect Marijuana and Hashish usage. My grandma is 67 years old. Her asshole doctor wont take a look at her legs. She gets these terrible leg cramps. Im taking care of her for the summer. She doesnt need the help but its always on my mind that she might not be ok. Tonight she came limping and bareley moving her legs. She almost calapsed and was in tears. this happens almost every night. Its been happening for 4 years. She can take 2 eleve nothing. She can take advil nothing happens. She drinks twice the amount of water you should consume, she takes so many vitamins. And she still gets these leg cramps. I had to rub her legs for 2 hours just so she would be able to snooze. Open Question: Why am I having testicular pain! (especially after smoking)?
I'm 18 years old. When I was 16 I began having pain in my left testicle, sometimes quite severe. Throughout the years I have noticed that whenever I smoke marijuana the pain becomes extremely severe. Sometimes to the point where I'm on the floor writhing in pain. Because of this I have obviously clip back greatly on my pot smoking, but do tend to sometimes smoke a tiny amount as the pain increase is somewhat bearable if I only smoke a little, though it still can receive quite painful. Other things such as heavy lifting or ejaculation usually causes the pain to significantly increase. I've gone to many doctors and gotten many different diagnoses. My latest urologist told me that I had varicoceles on my left testicle and that that may be the culprit. After doing some extensive research it seemed to make sense. I had surgery to remove these varicoceles a bit over a month ago and it did not help with the pain whatsoever. I'm starting to receive really desperate and can't seem to find anyone that can help me! I've also been told that I have a few cysts on both my right and left testicle but I'm not sure if that could cause this severe pain. Is there any information on some sort of testicular illness that gets significantly more painful after smoking marijuana? I've spent the past 2 years doing research pretty much anytime I have some spare time and I just can't seem to find any help. It's been negatively affecting my life and I am just desperate to find some sort of solution for this problem of mine.
Open Question: Boyfriend addicted to drugs, I'm pregnant.?
My boyfriend is addicted to drugs. pills like oxycotin, vicodin, methadone, and zannax. He is also addicted to marijuana. I guess I didn't realize how bad it was until lately. When we went to receive money out of his savings, I thought he had like 4 grand, and he only has like 2,000. On top of that, He makes 600 dollars a week, and never has money! He doesn't have any bills!! So that tells me it's every going to drugs. I am 6 months pregnant. I only make about 150 a week. (Not enough to live on my possess) He is a good person, with a huge heart. He is amazing with kids, will be a great dad, and I know how much he loves me. I just can't deal with his drug problem anymore. He treats me like crap when he is on them. I can completely tell when he's sober, because he is the nicest man on earth. I want him to change, and he keeps telling me he's trying to just quit on his possess, but I know that's most likely not possible. What are my options. I don't want to break up with him, I want to stand beside him. I know he won't go to rehab, is there any other way of getting him help? Or should I just break up with him, and kick him out until he can show me he's drug free. It's not the marijuana i'm concerned about, it's the pills.

I am not overweight. I do good in school. I never miss work. I don't receive mad easily. The only problem is that I procrastinate alot, I daydream alot, and sometimes I am very paranoid (like driving back home just to check if the garage was closed when I left, doing simple calculations in more than one way just to be sure the answer cannot be wrong, rereading passages over and over to make sure I don't miss anything - this sometimes guide to weird but creative interpretations...etc ) Could this daydreaming paranoia be an effect of consuming too much alcohol? (I've always had a problem with substance abuse and addiction. First it was cigarettes, then marijuana, and now alcohol. It's like I need to feel that "high" everyday.)

When I drink alcohol. I feel really sick quick. But when I smoke weed while drinking, every my nausea goes away which helps me to drink a bit more and have fun. But is this a dangerous habit? If so, what can it do to me? PS.. Please don't lecture me on Marijuana. Just answer my question.
Open Question: Urine analysis at MEPS?
I went to MEPS in Los Angeles yesterday for the Marines. I am on a waiver from an arrest back in '07 for possession of Marijuana below an ounce. Haven't smoked since. I did a physical only, because I had to receive that out of the way before my IST, and once thats done, go back to MEPS to sign and swear in. The day before yesterday, I took a Norco for back pain (No prescription) at about 10 am. That same day I receive the call that were on for MEPS the next day. I took the UA at about 11am the next day. They marked a TT next to the drug screen section, but they left the "First test" box unmarked. Im assuming they only immediately tested for THC, and are now going to do more tests for other drugs? Will I show positive for opiates? I am 5'10, 168 lbs, very good shape, high metabolism.

Ok so yesterday I heard of people combining heroin+cocaine and getting amazing effects. So...I made my possess drugs creation thing this is what I did. So first I smoked some fiery Kush very nice. Then I took some LSD-25 (325ug)....then I injected myself with cocaine/heroin... It was amazing....the marijuana made me calm before the the lsd, and helped me not to toss up...the heroin/cocaine made me lsd trip amazing cuz i was every glad. the last time i smoked marijuana was july 6 2010, and i took my drug test today july 29, 2010. i used some of my sis urine but hers wasn't enough to reach the marked line. i put some water in it like 3 drops and then i put like 4 drops of my urine. .. . do u think i failed?
